Troop 97 is proud to announce the newest Eagle Scout Jake Wallace.

Congratulations to Jake for the outstanding work he did to achieve this esteemed rank.

Troop 97 will remain as we add the Venture Crew to the organization.

The Venture Crew was started so the older members will have a high adventure focus and continue with activities that are both fun and interesting, geared toward older teens. The crew now has about 15 members and will soon have a calendar of events through September. There will be leader elections soon and the planning and running of the crew will be handled completely by the youth members.

Venture Crew 97, sponsored by the Sussex Elks, has officially started and already has plans in place for outdoor activities and fun high adventure. The crew meets every Tuesday night from 7-8:30 PM at the Elks (Rte 565/Lewisburg Road – behind the Sussex Library).

Any boy or girl aged 14 to 21 can join as a youth member and participate in all the activities. The program is still being organized, so come join us and contribute your ideas to make it more fun.
